Hi there, this is Lego_nuts!

Hi there! I am an interior designer based on Vancouver, Canada, also I am a photographer focusing on designing and creating with Lego bricks. I started my photography journey 10 years ago, working as an interior designer and a professional architectural photographer.

As an interior designer, I found that Lego helps me to study, explore and understanding structure of a space, and doing Lego photography gives me an opportunity to combine my hobby and professional skill, like how to determine color combinations, interior layout, lighting source locations, etc. They are all connected. For me, scale is the only factor differentiate between a Lego space and a real space,

I have been picking up Lego as a hobby for few years already, but I only started my Lego photography journey at the end of 2018. I was inspired by a top Lego photographer on Instagram, by that time I realized that I can use my camera to create stories with bricks. My earlier works are more focusing on minifigures, I was simply trying to tell the story which I want to express. After that, I have tried different ways to increase variation of the stories and themes that I’m interested in, like doing realistic diorama along with Lego minifigures. Until later I am ready for designing more sophisticated builds with Lego bricks, I realized that finally I have full control to my works. I am focusing on building MOC (My own creation) at this moment, which gives my imagination all the possibilities, without being limited.

Through this new website, I would like to share more stories behind of my creations, and also, I will post building tutorials and Lego photography tips, and featuring top Lego photographer each week! Exciting right? Please stay tuned for more fun and amazing content!
