Names and works not listed in order.
ds_artty is a very talented Lego photographer who focusing on scenes with minifigures, you can find lots of creative works from him and every one of them are fun to watch. The one I'm featuring this week called Morning time, very creative and brilliant, and ds_artty managed to use high shuttle speed to capture the pouring moment of the milk with a horse riding guy, which creating a fun combination that I’m sure it gives you joy when you looking at it.
Brickstopixel is an old friend and I have been watching his work since I joined Instagram. His works are very impactful, and with strong character, the mood in those photos are also top of the notch. This one called 501 Specialforce CROOPER (Clone Trooper) which you can also check out the before/ after comparison, and you can see how he's using his top skilled photo editing and the signature laser lighting to create dramatic effects.
This one is just so realistic and beautiful. jose_m_peral used scaled diorama to create this shot, and you can clearly tell the story behind it. The depth of field, colors and relationship of main characters are just to the point. You can also check out his portfolio, besides of Lego photos, his other photos are awesome as well.
I'd been invited to have a Lego photography interview arranged by Alfonso end of last year and we have some chat back then, and he's also doing very well on Lego photography. As this shot, he was using a hole bowl to simulate the amazing lighting effect on the back, and in this post, you can also see the BTS and it's always a great way to learn photo tips and tricks from others.
I know this one is from 6 months ago but I have to share it because it's a stunning shot! laurent_delcroix captured the happy moment of joy, and the champagne plug like a rocket flying with beautiful lens bokeh behind, the whole shot is well focused, and the lighting contrast is just perfect.
Minifiguresadventures is a very productive photographer and you will definitely love his works! His style and color tone are very attractive, not to mention that he's very good at blowing things LOL. I really like to watch his works, especially those shots on water, I always want to try that but I just afraid my Lego just flow away…
This scene created by es_toyphoto is just like a still short from a Star Wars movie. I really love the color tone on his works. My experience told me that it's not easy to arrange many characters in a scene, but he's doing very good on this one, you can easily focus on the princess Leia and Han Solo, but when you take a close look you will see lots of fun details on the back as well. Always, the story behind the photo is a key to impress the audience.
Weekend time! Let's take a look of this shot from tubeofbricks. He captured the bike riding moment perfectly. I really love that how he managed to use flying dirt and dust to add vitality into his shot. And you can learn a lot from him because he's sharing the BTS of the shots and it's very interesting!
Kaiyuanyao is good friend of mine and I'm really admire his passion on Lego photography. His works are mainly focusing on using a stormtrooper as the main character at different stories and scenes. Like this one, he's using a forest diorama scene as a background, and captured the moment of being kidnap by UFO in a very fun way, and the light beam effect he's using also really eye catching!
Happy #spacecowboysaturday y'all!. from
priovit70 priovit70 is extremally good at using colors and aperture in his works. Like this one, the bokeh effect on the back is pure, clean and enjoyable, making the character more pop up to your eyes, and also the seamless surface is quite interesting as well. If you have doubt of how to do a better color tuning, you can check out his page and see how he manages colors, and his story telling skill is also outstanding.
Ok guys, hope you enjoy the selected photos this week, please follow and tag me on Instagram if you have works like to be featuring. See you next week!
